Our Roots

I started my business in the summer of 2015, I injured my neck in a mountain biking accident and began making jewelry as something to do to pass the time and improve my hand dexterity while recovering from a fractured neck and nerve damage to my hands. I had some wild elements laying around, gun shell casings from my reloading bench and antler sheds picked up from our many adventures out hiking, hunting and fishing. I took up silversmithing which allows me the creative freedom to create new and unique designs, all of my pieces are forged with fire and love!

I had trouble coming up with a name i liked until the day we home tanned a deer hide, while salting the hide the name Salty Fawn Jewelry was born. I thought the name was unique and edgy, exactly the type of jewelry I like to make.

Let us live like flowers,
wild beautiful and drenched in sun.
